Frequently Asked Questions
When is the RSVP due?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by Monday, March 23. We are having a plated dinner and must submit meal choices shortly after that date, we don't want you to go hungry!
Is this a child-free wedding?
No, it is not. Janet loves her nieces too much! If you need high chairs or booster seats for the reception, please indicate so when you RSVP.
What is the dress code?
We ask that guests be dressed in formal attire. If you're wondering what that means, please refer to the in-depth description on the Details page!
Do I have to be Catholic to go to the Mass?
No, you do not have to be Catholic to attend. Everyone is invited to join us for the ceremony! As a note: expect the Mass to take an hour and to be a bilingual ceremony.
Can I take communion if I'm not Catholic?
No, you must be Catholic to receive communion. Those of other faiths or denominations are welcome to receive a blessing from the priest during that time.
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
No, we kindly ask that you leave photography during the Mass to the professionals. We will be sharing photos from the ceremony and other festivities after the big day!
What should we do between the ceremony and reception?
We recognize there is quite some time between the two! Feel free to go back to your accommodation to fresh up, grab a quick snack, or take a power nap (that's what Janet would do). You could also explore Indy! Check out our recommended food spots and sights here.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We're very thankful that Drexell Brewer was kind enough to offer to cover the tab, so feel free to drink up and party hard with us!
